Global Giving

Do you wonder how to find charities that will appeal to your favorite kids? Global Giving is a great way to find organizations. You can look for projects that appeal to you, or to your favorite kids or grandkids. I love the tab where you can give gift cards. They’re a wonderful way to encourage your kids, grandkids, or  kids of friends, to think about charitable giving. You can make your own gift too! Right from their donation page, you can post a link to Facebook to tell others what you’ve done and why you decided to contribute. I just used it to contribute to Mill River Collaborative in Stamford, CT, where I was campaign director. Mill River is building an urban park right in downtown Stamford.
