Repost from Nellie Mae Foundation re Newtown CT

This is from Nellie Mae Foundation. I am passing it on for you. If your children or grandchildren want to help the families in Newtown, CT, you can look at the websites below.

Dear Colleague,

We head into this holiday season with heavy hearts following the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. The Foundation offers deep condolences to those who lost family, friends, and community members on Friday. Along with the rest of the nation, we are still struggling to process these devastating events.

To support the recovery ahead, the Foundation plans to donate to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, established by the United Way of Western Connecticut to meet the needs of those directly affected, and theConnecticut Parents Union, a group that is connecting parents and families with counseling and related services.

Here are a few additional ways to help:

We remain committed to reshaping public education through equitable and personalized approaches that help all students to succeed.

Wishing you a peaceful and healthy New Year.

Sincerely,

Nick D
